The Geraldine News (GNews) is a free community newspaper circulating 16,000 households (inside the Ashburton Courier) in the South Canterbury town of Geraldine and its outlying areas. Founded by Neil Wilson and Marg Braggins in 1992, Hugh and Fi McCafferty continue to foster the goodwill of the publication, and nurture and champion the values of the local community.
